Annual Sand Sculptures Festival

The annual sand sculpture exhibition opened on May 25 at the beach of Peter and Paul fortress. Every year it takes 3000 tons of sand and 3 weeks of labour to complete the sculptures. The topic of 2019 festival is “Lost Worlds”. The guests can see the the Gigantic Octopus,  Medieval Knights  composition, Japanese Samurai and  many, mamy more ! The tallest sculpture is the dragon guarding a magic kingdom. They say it’s over 33 ft tall. Come and check for yourself. You still have 3 months. The sculptures will sty intact owing to the special weather resistant solution they are covered with.
